Liana Corutiu never set out to build a skincare company. She set out to stop reacting to her own. Sensitivity, irritation, products that promised calm and delivered the opposite — the shelf kept offering the same answer with a different label on it. So she started reading ingredient lists instead of front labels. Then she started making her own. After years of testing formulations by hand, the answer became Luxal.

What we won't put in a jar

Every Luxal formulation is built around certified organic ingredients, and nothing else. No synthetic fragrance, no fillers to bulk out a jar, no ingredient that's there to extend shelf life rather than do something for your skin. If it doesn't earn its place, it doesn't go in — because when your skin reacts to everything, every ingredient has to justify itself.
